"Stories are told as spells for binding the world together."

We tell stories in order to make sense of our world. We express our beliefs, desires and hopes in stories, in an attempt to explain ourselves and to understand others. Storytelling plays a vital role in a human's development way beyond simply being an enjoyable activity. Today, in our high tech world where in the US more than one third of children under the age of two use mobile media, and with 95% of teens (12-17) spending time online, stories are needed more than ever to fulfill those basic social and individual needs.

From traditional tales to contemporary stories,  one is never too young nor too old for the magic of stories.
